...A sure-fire way to get something of yours elected "Daily Deviation" is to submit nudity.

Now, I'm not going to start preaching against the whole boob thing. I know there's the whole "it's tasteful, art is not pornographic, etc" argument and surprisingly that's a view I understand and can agree with.

But whoever's in charge of making these selections is making it a little too obvious. I don't visit dA every single day. Sometimes I even go weeks without thinking to check it. But lately, it seems to never fail. I can always scroll down to see the "Daily Deviations" section and, 99% of the time, I can find tits. Are we really supposed to believe these pieces of "artwork"* are being selected purely for their artistic qualities? Personally, I don't buy it.

*While I acknowledge that nudity can be tasteful and artistic, I have never really believed mere photographs should fall into the artistic category - and no, black and white doesn't cut it. At least open Photoshop and add some lens flare to them bitches.

Still here. IT'S BEEN OVER A YEAR SINCE I UPDATED THIS JOURNAL.

How is DA?

Occasionally I do manage to update with some sort of random peice of artwork. I don't really use this Journal much because I have my Livejournal. As much as I lurk, I promise I do check my deviantWatch everyday. I've been enjoying a lot of ~NCH85's flashes, mostly. I get inspired by a lot of you guys, but unfortunately I lack the motivation to really make things.

It's also fun keeping up with various retards on DA, like *snapesnogger who REALLY KNOWS NAGAS AND JUST WISHES PEOPLE WOULD STOP CRITICIZING HER, LOL and *princessangel83 who DOES NOT TRACE, LOL. The raids are really entertaining, but I try my best to not get too involved, lest the admins decide to suspend my account.. again.

Also, sent a request to add Kassi and I to *love. Hopefully her uh.. previous info has been removed from there. :<

Also also, trying to learn the different codes and tags and such that DA uses for comments.

Took me like two minutes to find the link to add a new journal entry. x_x

Just because I don't make comments doesn't mean i'm not paying attention. I check out most of the things that land in my message center, aside from those fucking hot topic spam items. Honestly, nobody reads those.


Can anybody tell me how to add a signature to the journal entries? Lots of people end each entry with rows of icons of their friends' DAs as well as other links. I don't know how to do all that.
